It's normal to put off things in life until you have the money to do them. But does it have to be that way?
Absolutely not!
Never wait until the money shows up or you'll spend most of your time waiting. And while you wait, you'll be thinking about many things for which you are waiting.
You've got to make a decision to have what you want now. Then, the money will show up or you'll be able to enjoy what you wanted in a way you hadn't expected.
There have been many times in my life when the money to travel was not present in my life. Yet, my desire to travel was always burning. Once I learned that the Universe responds to my decisions, I made the decision to always find a way to travel. And I have.
Here are some of the ways I was supported in traveling without creating financial debt to do it:
Friends and family invited me to stay at their vacation homes.
When I made airplane reservations, I got unexpected deals.
I was upgraded in hotels and airline seats without even requesting it.
My mom shared her timeshare with me.
I created ideal trips to places where I had friends with who I could stay.
I got new clients within a week of deciding to take a trip.
I found ways to experience my desires right here in the state in which I live.
Once you make a decision to have whatever it is you want, the way to have it reveals itself quickly. Making a decision may seem a bit crazy when the money isn't there, but it is exactly this process that brings the prosperity to you.
Yes, it takes faith that you will find a way to have what you want. The cool part is that you don't always need to figure out how you do it before you make the decision.
I remember deciding to buy my BMW M3. I didn't have a clue how to come up with the down payment for the car, but I felt that the car was already mine when I left the dealership and decided to think about a way to create the money. Within 24 hours I knew how to get the car and within a month I created the down payment from "nowhere."
Up to that point in my life, I'd never created that much money in such a short time and so spontaneously. The decision to buy the car drew the money to me like bees to honey. It was easy. I wasn't scared about finding a way to buy the car. I was simply excited to have the car.
Decisions are solid, unlike a wish. What do you need to make a decision about?

Begin to Prosper.
God never intended for his people to live beneath their privileges. He never intended for you to toil to have your ends meet. He never intended for you to be bankrupt financially, emotionally or spiritually. He promised and purposed to take care of your very needs. David said in Psalm 37:25-26, "I have been young, and now am old; yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken, nor his seed begging bread. He is merciful, and lendeth; and his seed is blessed." You are His seed. He will always take care of you.
God wants you blessed. God is your father and God is good. A good father does not allow his children to go without if it is within his power to provide for them what they need. A good father ensures that his children's needs are met. A good father ensures that his children are adequately prepared for all of life's challenges and opportunities. Contrary to popular religious teaching God never intended for His children to live a life of lack, need or quiet desperation. God did not design us to live in lack, without the basic resources to care for ourselves and others.
If you don't control how you spend your money, then it can cause your life to plummet out of control. To be released from the grip of financial bondage all you have to do is follow the principles discussed in this book. The spiritual wisdom found here is not new. These principles have been around for a long time. God does not want you to suffer. He wants you to live the life that He has designed and destined for you. If you follow the financial plan of God for your life, you will not experience another day of lack. Psalm 37:5 says, "Commit thy way unto the LORD; trust also in him; and he shall bring it to pass." Let's be clear: I never said you are guaranteed to be physically rich in terms of money or stuff as the world defines rich. God did not promise stuff. But the Word of God does promise that "All your needs will be met."

A Directive From God Part 2:God Wants You to Prosper
In part one we covered how God intends for all of us to prosper. God has general prosperity that is imparted to all mankind, we used the example of rain and how it prospers everything related to rainfall, the water, the life in the water, the life depending on water, and the life that consumes the water and life forms for nourishment. We also covered the distinction between being blessed and receiving blessings.
Now back to the part where I claimed (however debatable) that I haven't lost my mind. Let's say you choose a ministry and decide to support or sow $1000.00 into that ministry. If it were to suggested as all too many today do, that by supporting, or sowing $1000.00 into that ministry, God would then take your seed and return it to you 30,60, or 100 fold, that would be manipulating scripture for self gain or interest. If any leader or teacher of the word suggests even remotely this scenario I would run not walk away. If it's on TV I wouldn't change the channel I would turn off the set. Will God bless you if you sow into a righteous ministry? Yes of course he will, but how he will bless you is another thing. God is not a vending machine you put money into and pull out what you choose. God is not a stock market broker giving you a window of return on your investment. 2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us we must give, not if we decide to give, it says we must decide how much to give. 2 Corinthians 9:8 tells us we can then expect God to give us all we need, in fact it says we will always have all we need and plenty left over to share. Here is where you want to pay attention; it does not say only money. If you sow you can expect a harvest, but that harvest will be what you need, and yes it does infer you will always have money to share, but if you need a wife or husband he may bless you with that and not any return on your money. If you are struggling with disease or disability he may bless you with healing, not a return on your money. If you need peace because you struggle with anxiety or depression, God may give you peace of mind. He will prosper you, and he will see you have enough money to meet your needs, but he will also prosper you where you need it most, especially if you ask for that harvest. No you are not buying it, your faith and obedience is what is going to get your result.
Matthew 6:33 - Seek you first his kingdom, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you. God has no problem with money or you're having it, his issue is what your priority is. If you obey him, and submit yourself as a child, and willing helper or servant he will use you in whatever way he has designed, and he will prosper you.
Deuteronomy 28:2-6 you will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:
You will be blessed in your towns and in the country, you will be blessed with many children and productive fields, you will blessed with fertile herds and flocks, you will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread, you will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going.
When you are struggling with your faith, when life is throwing all it has at you, when all seems hopeless turn to our Father, the Almighty God. Come to him through our intercessor Jesus Christ. Praise his name and pray his Holy word, his promise. Remember when you feeling captive and it seems the deceiver, the thief is having his way, God is there promising to take you his chosen safely out. He promises to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. The worst of times is when we need the best of our faith. God is not concerned with the natural; he knows what goes on in the world and hearts he created. He only waits for those who love and obey him to call upon him knowing they are in Grace and reconciled to him, worthy in Christ Jesus to all his unlimited abundance' Remember when he took his first chosen out? He makes you the same promise. You will have houses you did not build, wells you did not dig, eat your fill of what you did not plant, but be careful to remember the Lord your God who brought you out. You are blessed and he has many blessing for you, simply seek him first, be obedient, and keep your end of the covenant. This is not law, nor a commandment it is a Directive from God for eternity. On this earth in this life and in the infinite eternity to come, God has been and will always be there to prosper you.
God intends and promises to prosper you, it is a directive from him, obey me, seek me first, put the kingdom of God first and I will bless you, I will prosper you. He says it from Genesis to Revelations. We are grafted into all blessing both Old and New Testament for we the gentiles accepted the message of Christ, and in the New City on the New Earth we will reign with him all as one. We must simply put God first, obey, make ourselves willingly available, spread the message of Christ, sow into the kingdom cheerfully, take care of the poor and oppressed and our faith will yield results and prosperity, our obedience will unleash the Blessings and Blessing God has for all his people, and has had since the dawn of man in the Garden. You can do nothing and still get some rain, do what God says and he will give you the river.
May God's favor and the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you, and may the Holy Spirit impart all wisdom and prosperity unto you.

A Directive From God Part 1:God Wants You to Prosper
In fact, God has intended from the formation of the earth and the beginning of man that man will prosper. Before you jump to any conclusions let me preface this article with what it is not. It is not a prosperity gospel, at least in terms of the modern day trend, as it is not a gospel. To my knowledge there are four gospels, and none are called prosperity. The precept of the tithe and now giving under the New Covenant is not an investment strategy, again reminded of modern preaching that somehow concludes that God is running some sort of stock market exchange where you tithe or gift so much based on a calculated return. The thirty, sixty, hundred fold return is taken from Mark 4: and is the story of the farmer and scattered seed. It has nothing to do with money. The farmer is the one who brings God's message; the seed represents the different type of people who hear it and their ultimate reaction the message. We should never take scripture out of context and manipulate it to support a self serving point, which is exactly what occurs when someone takes a scripture like Mark chapter 4:1-20 and contorts it to fit with some scheme to suggest a return on an investment of your giving. Without judgment but with discernment, the obvious is stated. Its self promotion, the bible makes it clear that those who disseminate the word, particularly those who people repose confidence in and award some authority on the subject will be judged harshly on what they preach or teach. 2 Peter 2:3 "In their greed they will make up clever lies to get hold of your money. But God condemned them long ago, and their destruction is on the way".
Seed time and harvest is a biblical principle. Look around at life, a man impregnates a woman fertilizes her egg with his "seed" and nine months later is the harvest. Many of us have farmed or have or had gardens in our yards, plant the seeds or bulbs, water, let the sunshine and in time, after its season you can go harvest your veggies, or fruits. Seed sowing in the ministry works in a similar fashion, however there are some distinct differences. For example if a man impregnates a woman the harvest is a human child, not a goat. If one plants tomato's the harvest are tomato's not beans or cars or a spouse. No I haven't lost my mind I will explain a little further as we go. Suffice it to say that seed, time and harvest in the kingdom according to God's word may yield you a harvest completely different from your seed. I will explain further into the session, and it will all come together and make sense. That principle is a vehicle or catalyst to prosperity but it is not prosperity in and of itself, as God prospers us in many ways apart from any seed sowing. For example it rains, when it rains the ground is watered, the plant life flourishes the rivers, streams and lakes fill, the fish and plants and other life in these waters grow healthy, man takes both water to drink and food to eat from them. God has prospered us. He has prospered all of us, Christians and non Christians alike. This is general prosperity where all things dependent on water and the life forms that exist within it prosper, without any acknowledgment of God. To address it in Biblical terms many people think that prosperity means God is going to rain cars, house, or money from the sky, but that's not the blessing of God, those are blessings. Looking at proverbs 10:22 we see it says the blessing of the lord makes a man rich and adds no sorrow with it. Notice it did not say the "blessings" make you rich, it said the blessing. Abraham for example got the "blessing". God caused him to prosper. God did not drop camels or sons from the sky; he blessed Abraham empowering him to prosper with the ability to father a son. He likewise blessed Sarah with the ability to carry a child in her 90's. He has given you (us) the ability to prosper. He directs you to apply his word. It is your faith that will eventually bring about the results. It takes wisdom and knowledge of the word to receive prosperity, and understanding to apply the word. Know at this point prosperity is not a principle but a directive and promise from God and from Jesus in both the Old and New Testaments. We will look at some scripture to support this in part 2.

Respect For the Dead .
"Unto thy hands O Lord, we commend our spirit." I patterned this prayer to Jesus' seven last words on the cross which is "Father, into Your hands I commit my spirit."
These words impart trusting a promise. These words assure that a Father is waiting in all channels of a journey. Here is believing in someone named "God and Creator."
Death is a solemn passing when each one has to say "Goodbye, until we meet again..." That is if we believe, there is a Father we could run to and be home with forever.
If someone will die, he needs a sacrament and/or prayers preparing him to meet his God.
During the wake, a reunion of relatives and close friends come very solemn. Tears of joy and sadness blend in the atmosphere of acceptance and unselfish giving of the self to each other and the bereaved family.
Here is a story.
When my mother died this May 2010, I witnessed how everyone tried to help.
I saw in this brief special moments how her siblings, in their precedential years beheld each other. From different parts of the globe, for seven days, they came in as one family again, in one small funeral parlor, taking naps while sitting down, and cleaning up in one small comfort room. For one week, they forgot they had their own families, work, and other concerns just to attend to their dead sister. For one week, they left what they had built in life - and simply became one and ate with each other again. Coming from one small town with their cousins and friends, in that one house of prayer for the dead, they breathed meaning to life.
But then, something happened. Some people around the block tried to borrow and pull out the water dispenser from the funeral parlor. Of course, people in the parlor were strangers from different places (town, countries), how can they say no?
I found myself in rage, because I knew that water was essential. A person can fast, but not thirst. Even Jesus uttered: "I am thirsty." My point was, give some respect to the dead person and his/her bereaved family and/or tribe. Death happens, but the occasion of death must be solemn and kind. This point in life is sacred and you don't mess up with something sacred. Death is sacred because it is a turning point. And perhaps everyone, even passers-by are blessed when they make reverence to a ritual.
Some senior citizens said, "Why are you so bitter? We never expected you're like that."
I said, "Because it's a shame that you're professionals and you're acting as if you are uneducated people."
"Okay, we will return the water dispenser now."
"No, I won't be needing it anymore."
"Why, would you buy?"
I answered, "I don't have money to buy that, that is why I am borrowing. I have made a request with Our Lady of Beautiful Love Parish that the water dispenser will be necessary for the wake."
Later, my uncle and aunts told me, "Hey, have patience with them. You will also be a senior citizen!"
My siblings and relatives just laughed it out; but as for me, it was something people of all ages just have to learn: Respect, respect for the dead, his/her family and all his tribe.

What the World Needs Now Is Love!
The world would be a better place if we all learned to live in peace with one another.
This is not a new concept, I know, but merely reflecting on this sentiment is vastly different than taking it to heart and incorporating it into our lives in "real time." It appears that the world-at-large is becoming more and more combative: rallying against one thing or another-no matter how insignificant it may actually be in the overall scheme of things-in order to support a cause or be a voice that gets itself heard in the world. The desire for change is inherent in all of us: it is a part of our creative, spiritually-based nature and is necessary for the evolution of our species. Conversely, hurting others to get a point across or using control and pain to affect change is not natural at all as it emanates from our human, earthly-bound side that is mired in ego.
Our government does not set a good example for its people. Our politicians often act more like spoiled children who throw fits to get their own way and win no matter the consequences, resulting in the expansion of even greater disharmony and segregation. When we are divided-as the all-too-common attitude "it's them against us" so aptly depicts-and the ego is allowed to take the lead, conflict resolution with a peaceful outcome can't happen and nobody emerges unscathed from the fallout. Despite our individual differences-how we look, where we come from, what we do with our lives-all of us are very similar in our desires at the most rudimentary level. We all want love, security, happiness and success; even though our individual interpretation of what these mean to us may vary greatly.
The question to ponder is this: "Can we ever fight enough wars to create peace or hate each other enough to induce love?" The obvious answer is "NO", but it appears that not enough recognize that this is the very thing we are attempting to accomplish as evidenced by the ridiculous behaviors mankind repeats generation after generation. (My favorite definition of insanity applies here: "doing the same thing over and over again expecting a different result.") If we are blinded by prejudice, fear and hatred, we cannot see past what these negative, dark forces bring and consequently, the light of understanding cannot dissolve these illusions and free us from this cycle. If we continue to blame another for what we have created and refuse to acknowledge that we are responsible for our present reality, we will continue to be held hostage by our own ignorance and inevitably repeat these patterns, readily passing them down to the next generation.
Here are 3 important steps that will get you started on the path to peace:
1. It's time to wake up to what we are doing to ourselves. Whatever we focus on expands, so if we live in fear we allow this negative emotion to darken our outlook and our energy, attracting more into our lives to fear. Our economy is a good example of this in general and the stock market certainly reflects this in particular. When fear of a recession became an every day headline in the news, it caused a trickle down effect on the masses, creating a dire situation for many. We can't focus on what we don't want without attracting more of it, so being diligent in noticing what has captured our attention is paramount to changing it.
2. Love is the only answer. Loving ourselves first makes it possible to love another. We can start by lending a hand to someone who is in need and this will help everyone feel better: "what goes around comes around." Let's find peaceful resolutions to our own personal conflicts and when we do, this way of life will automatically be extended outward to society. Let's look at others with the intention of seeing the best in them and not amplify the bad: we will, after all, find what we are looking for.
3. The bottom line to our lives is how we leave the world when we make our transition from it. Making sure that your life is everything that you want it to be is easier to accomplish if you wake up every morning with a new decision to look for the good in all and appreciate everything you do have: this will certainly create a sense of peace and happiness within you and this is where it must begin.
If you want to leave the world a better place then you found it, do something now so you can be a part of the solution, not the problem. If we work together we certainly can create a better world for all!

How to Help the Poor in Your Community
Many people wonder what they can do to better their community or help the less fortunate. Even those who do not live in areas with this problem often want to help other communities. Though at first it may seem hard to get involved, if you have the right resources it is very easy. There are a lot of programs such as soup kitchens and thrift stores, or even business who set up cheap modular housing. Things such as habitat for humanity build prefabricated homes for people to live in. There are countless ways to help the poor.
Most people often do not do service work because they think it will be too hard to get involved or too boring. Both of these reasons are not good excuses. One of the best, and most effective, ways to raise money is doing a benefit concert or party in a park. These are good because they attract both young and older individuals and are almost always open to the entire public. They are easy to advertise and promote for a very low cost. Many local bands love to do benefit concerts for free and will often provide many good connections. Having something fun to do entices a lot of people who will be willing to donate small sums of money.
Another great and easy way to do service is going down to work a free store food bank or soup kitchen. Though it may sound tedious and boring, the experience is often very rewarding. At such places the volunteer may interact with the needy individuals or with other volunteers. Either way it makes for a learning experience about other people. Face to face contact with the individuals in need is something many volunteer crave. It often gives a greater sense of satisfaction. It also provides a look into the lives of those less fortunate. After getting to know the less fortunate, many volunteers feel a great devotion to the cause of helping such individuals.
If you are looking for such interaction, working in a big brother center or community center in the inner city may be for you. These will not only bring you in contact with the needy children, but let you build a relation ship with them. This kind of work is arguably the most rewarding because you gain a friendship and get to do fun activities with the people. Doing such volunteer work allows you to see the direct aid you are providing for your community.
These examples are just the tip of the iceberg of volunteer activities you can get involved with to help your community. Once you find a niche, being involved in volunteering is easy and fun. Some individuals even turn volunteering into a career. Regardless of where volunteering takes you; it is a great way to learn about and give back to the community. Becoming a volunteer provides an experience to meet new people and learn about yourself and others. Activities such as this are a great place to start as a first time volunteer.
