A Directive From God Part 2:God Wants You to Prosper

In part one we covered how God intends for all of us to prosper. God has general prosperity that is imparted to all mankind, we used the example of rain and how it prospers everything related to rainfall, the water, the life in the water, the life depending on water, and the life that consumes the water and life forms for nourishment. We also covered the distinction between being blessed and receiving blessings.

Now back to the part where I claimed (however debatable) that I haven't lost my mind. Let's say you choose a ministry and decide to support or sow $1000.00 into that ministry. If it were to suggested as all too many today do, that by supporting, or sowing $1000.00 into that ministry, God would then take your seed and return it to you 30,60, or 100 fold, that would be manipulating scripture for self gain or interest. If any leader or teacher of the word suggests even remotely this scenario I would run not walk away. If it's on TV I wouldn't change the channel I would turn off the set. Will God bless you if you sow into a righteous ministry? Yes of course he will, but how he will bless you is another thing. God is not a vending machine you put money into and pull out what you choose. God is not a stock market broker giving you a window of return on your investment. 2 Corinthians 9:7 tells us we must give, not if we decide to give, it says we must decide how much to give. 2 Corinthians 9:8 tells us we can then expect God to give us all we need, in fact it says we will always have all we need and plenty left over to share. Here is where you want to pay attention; it does not say only money. If you sow you can expect a harvest, but that harvest will be what you need, and yes it does infer you will always have money to share, but if you need a wife or husband he may bless you with that and not any return on your money. If you are struggling with disease or disability he may bless you with healing, not a return on your money. If you need peace because you struggle with anxiety or depression, God may give you peace of mind. He will prosper you, and he will see you have enough money to meet your needs, but he will also prosper you where you need it most, especially if you ask for that harvest. No you are not buying it, your faith and obedience is what is going to get your result.

Matthew 6:33 - Seek you first his kingdom, and his righteousness: and all these things shall be added unto you. God has no problem with money or you're having it, his issue is what your priority is. If you obey him, and submit yourself as a child, and willing helper or servant he will use you in whatever way he has designed, and he will prosper you.

Deuteronomy 28:2-6 you will experience all these blessings if you obey the Lord your God:

You will be blessed in your towns and in the country, you will be blessed with many children and productive fields, you will blessed with fertile herds and flocks, you will be blessed with baskets overflowing with fruit, and with kneading bowls filled with bread, you will be blessed wherever you go, both in coming and in going.

When you are struggling with your faith, when life is throwing all it has at you, when all seems hopeless turn to our Father, the Almighty God. Come to him through our intercessor Jesus Christ. Praise his name and pray his Holy word, his promise. Remember when you feeling captive and it seems the deceiver, the thief is having his way, God is there promising to take you his chosen safely out. He promises to prepare a table before you in the presence of your enemies. The worst of times is when we need the best of our faith. God is not concerned with the natural; he knows what goes on in the world and hearts he created. He only waits for those who love and obey him to call upon him knowing they are in Grace and reconciled to him, worthy in Christ Jesus to all his unlimited abundance' Remember when he took his first chosen out? He makes you the same promise. You will have houses you did not build, wells you did not dig, eat your fill of what you did not plant, but be careful to remember the Lord your God who brought you out. You are blessed and he has many blessing for you, simply seek him first, be obedient, and keep your end of the covenant. This is not law, nor a commandment it is a Directive from God for eternity. On this earth in this life and in the infinite eternity to come, God has been and will always be there to prosper you.

God intends and promises to prosper you, it is a directive from him, obey me, seek me first, put the kingdom of God first and I will bless you, I will prosper you. He says it from Genesis to Revelations. We are grafted into all blessing both Old and New Testament for we the gentiles accepted the message of Christ, and in the New City on the New Earth we will reign with him all as one. We must simply put God first, obey, make ourselves willingly available, spread the message of Christ, sow into the kingdom cheerfully, take care of the poor and oppressed and our faith will yield results and prosperity, our obedience will unleash the Blessings and Blessing God has for all his people, and has had since the dawn of man in the Garden. You can do nothing and still get some rain, do what God says and he will give you the river.

May God's favor and the peace of our Lord Jesus Christ be upon you, and may the Holy Spirit impart all wisdom and prosperity unto you.
